Sean O'Loughlin has finally begun to show the wigan faithful that he is worthy of the captaincy and a starting spot each week, when he was first appointed captain i was certain that there were better players for the job and fair credit to him, he played through and took the critisism on board and now Lockers has been putting in some fantastic performances this season at loose. Most tackles, he has taken on the mantle from Trent Barrett, the leader of the team and he is always there to make a tackle and get stuck in, could this be the start of a new Lockers. A more consistent leader on the field.

A genuine contender for Man Of Steel?

This was suggested to Noble at the press conf after the Salford league game. Lockers was outstanding and IMO, MOM.
Needless to say BN agreed with the idea.

There's along way to go yet but if he continues playing as well as he has, then he must be a contender.

Never in doubt IMO...he needed to step up his attack, I think Barrett leaving as helped him grow as an attacking player.


Possibly but after the James Roby debacle the awards lost its edge IMO.

The only genuine contenders for MOS atm are players from Leeds, Saints and Hull KR.

He has to be in contention, he is the standout 2nd row in the comp so far and thats with some very good competition in Hock,JJB,Puletua etc.

He is a 13

Puletua will not get it, he is not British.

A player from one of the top 2 teams will win it as usual. My guess is Cunningham if Saints finish top.

Menzies will win man of steel. I think Menzies has been the stand out second row, bu tbh, that could be slightly biased.

I also believe it's outstanding to do what he does at 35.

If it's given for age I'm in with a shout.
