Effectively, what we as supporters & Noble have left to aim for. 3 Challenge Cup games. The league is a write off, AGAIN. Noble must take blame for this. He has the resources, the budget, the facilities to compete at the top level and he has failed.
9th at this stage of the campaign, 10th if others win a game in hand is inexcusable.
I don't feel too down hearted about tonight because I've already written the league off but does this team have the guile to approach 3 possible cup games like a test match series becuase that it what this season boils down to?

I just hope the players feel the same(for the cup games)
The problem is the effort has been there in the last 2 games but the talent sadly hasn't been.
Don't see how that could change for the cup. We simply can't put anymore effort in then we did in the Hull KR game.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate

the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever

If we get in the 8 we still have a chance, but we must look at the cup as a must win competition, we have gone too long without a trophy.
We could discuss things like this till 2020 though.

Noble needs a miracle to get a contract next year. Though, I think he cares as much as we do. i.e. not at all.

If we do not win the CC this season is a disaster!
We can get a good draw into the final but i pray to god if we do not meet Saints in the semi and make the final and lose it is considered a success nd BN gets a new deal. |

How on earth can you say that with the playoff format as it is this year? 
If we hit the top 8 on a run of form we have every chance of getting to OT.
