I'm keen to get the ball rolling this year and try to get a new Summer club off the ground in Chester. I've put together the following website to help get things moving.

Despite being a Saints fan, I'd love to hear from Wigan fans based in or around Chester who want to get involved, either on or off the field. My intention is to arrange a meeting in a pub some time in the next six weeks to try and set things up formally.

I'd also be keen to hear from any coaches from the region who are willing to get involved - I don't feel confident enough to handle this myself but if needs must I will - as a head coach.

I'm hoping we can maybe get 2/3 games in the MML sorted for 2008 with a view to stepping things up in 2009.

What happened to Chester Wolves? I used to go down watching them occasionally, was always a good friendly atmosphere and a way to spend a Saturday afternoon! Will rack my brains for friends over there who may be interested, although most of them are either too old, too fat or too into rugger union. icon_lol.gif

I Know it is not Chester but I used to Play for Crewe Wolves which I Know is still up and running. I know it is a bit of a drive to Crewe but I know they will be looking for new players.
