| I am a sad sad man and I am dragging 8 mates along to Wigan on the 11th April for the first night of my stag to see the Broncos get murdered by your lot!
That should double the away attendance!
First visit to the DW. Any goods pubs / bars / restaurants for before, after, or to avoid especially considering we are going to be a large number of cockneys a little worse for wear!
The 8 are not exactly delighted about the night watching the Broncos, so much so that the crowd is miraculously growing to 14 for the second night in Manchester!
All advice gratefully received!

| Wigan town centre on a Friday night is pretty dead nowadays apart from one or two places. If your looking for pubs then the Berkley Square is about the best, the Anvil is decent as is the Raven. If you want somewhere to go a bit later on to have a laugh (and to listen to some s*ite music) stick to Revolution or Ibiza bar (£1.50 all drinks will seem a new world for Cockneys) as they're the best of a very bad bunch.
The town centres about a 20 minute walk from the Stadium or you can jump in a taxi for less then a fiver.
There isn't much around the ground.

| Jamals Indian near the ground is quality. Drinkswise depends what you're looking for I suppose. I go to the Tudor then the Boulevard but that's because I'm in my early 20s and into rock music. If you're a bit older the Anvil's probably your best bet, rammed in there after games

| Went to Jamals on Christmas Eve and then again a few weeks later. On both occasions the food served was quality.

| What time are you arriving? A pre-match sesh in one of the local breweries would probably get your cockney mates to cheer up a bit. Ask them to take the sparklers off and double the price for further authenticity!

Went to Allgates last week. That place is unreal! It was basically drink as much as you wanted, as quickly as you could for £12 with a few butties thrown in!
I'd do that on every night out but I'm not sure they'd let me! (Or If my liver would let me)
