Cheers

| Wane said he'd give him a few U20's games first to ease him back into it. There's a lot of doom mongers on here regarding him saying he's finished. I'd like to think this 18 months/2 years off will have given his body the chance to recover from the rigours of RL and he'll come back fresh and with a renewed hunger for the game.

| Not going to have long to convince Wane/put himself in the shop window. Am I right in thinking he is out of contract at the end of the season? He will be on a tidy wedge too I would think given his big transfer from the Bulls.
Hope he can get himself back to the force he used to be, if he can then he wont have any trouble getting fixed up.

| Let's hope Fielden has something left to give. His experience would be useful given the uncanny and massively annoying knack many of our otherwise excellent players have of pressing the self-destruct button/failing to perform in big games against lesser opponents.

In todays League Weekly it says he is returning to full training this week and will get a run in the U20's, but whether that starts on Wednesday or at London on Saturday is not stated.

| a refreshed and fit stu is a great replacement for lima next year,it also leaves plenty of cap space for a top class half back.

| When you look at our season opening roster of players we have had no Stu, no Amos and have been missing Richards since the end of March. All of these, in form, would all be first team contenders and have taken up quite a bit of cap. When you consider this, this is a part of the reason we have had to use younger players when perhaps we would rather not. Mixed blessings i hear you say, and true. It's been an intresting season for sure, really makes me wonder whether Stu will have a place in futher plans, i for one certainly hope so. But you have to wonder what has been going through managements minds while he has been sidelined, and if he is a part of the plan.

Not sure about this, Lima will be very difficult to replace imo - could you imagine South Sydney offering Fielden a contract in the NRL?

| His name has cropped up for us a few times in the recent past - clearly he fits our recruitment criteria of having played for, lived in or passed through Wigan in the last 10 years!
I suspect it was a case of looking at which props were coming off contract, rather than anything with substance.

| 2 Seasons ago Fielden was immense but hasnt really played since. Im excited to to see him pull on the jersey again and as posted previously the rest may have given his body time to heal and refresh. If Fielden can stay fit and healthy I think he will really shine playing in this dominant pack we currently have, very similar to his Bradford days. I just hope his body is up to the rigours of Super League.

| I think a fully fit Fielden could really be a fantastic boost. He was our best prop when we won SL in 2010, defensively he did a ton of work. With Dudson injured for the season, Prescott not finding full fitness, i'm very excited to see Fielden back in the team. We are a better team with him as one of our 4 props, make no mistake about that. Fielden and Mossop starting, with an impact prop bench of Lima and Lauaki? Yes please!

Never did Gaz Hock any harm having 2 years out.
Stu has always kept himself in tip top condition. It was the niggly injuries and perhaps a perhaps a little bit of mental fatigue that may have stopped him hitting Bradford form.
Now, in no way im i saying we will see a return to that form, but i am pretty confident that we will have a great addition back into the squad when he is fully fit
