If that’s true then Wane should be gone this weekend, sadly his ego will make sure he finishes the season with us

Last night reminded me so much of when we had Noble coaching and Trent Barrett in the halves.

No game plan and no direction until Barrett decided he was going to do what he wanted during games rather than listen to Noble and just play his own way, which often saw us turn losing positions into winning ones.

It was clear Tomkins and Batemen got fed up and decided to try to play Saints on their own after 60 minutes of rudderless action.

Wane needs to go now.

Aw that’s not fair on Noble at all. We had a very clear game plan which was 5 drives and kick it!

I would never believe it except it all shows on the pitch. Hard to see where it’s all gone wrong over the last couple of years? Wane’s stubbornness not to get an attacking coach (or any competent assistant) is probably one of the answers.

I’d be really interested to know how players that have been at the club for many years would compare current leadership style with that of Maguire?

There is certainly evidence that the culture that he instigated has been eroded.

Huge task ahead for the new coach and I don’t think a one season temporary appointment is going to cut it.

Players were arguing last night so it seems to have some weight. Things just don’t look right at the minute. We’re unorganised and really down on energy from the first minute.

I’d love to think Wane can raise us for one last tilt but the signs aren’t good.

Can very well believe that, been same for last 3 years. We badly need Wane to go.

Against Leeds and Warrington a few weeks ago, we looked like the most galvanised team you could ever want to see. We we fast and slick and clearly all playing as a unit against Leeds and we’re dogged and committed against Wire.

The last 2 weeks have been poor and there’s no getting away from that but there is something in this side that makes me think you’ll write us off at your peril. I’m still confident of a top 4 finish and I’m confident of a place at old Trafford. If we get there, it’s anybody's game.

We are ready for a big change and we definitely need it but we’ve got plenty to play for this season.

If Wane goes now - and he should - there is no point bringing an outsider in as a temporary fix until the end of the season. The problems will persist. The only solution IMO is to appoint Lockers as player coach, he is well respected throughout the club and a natural leader.

I don’t care that he has no experience as a Head Coach, the players aren’t lacking in skill or talent. They just need some direction and motivation.

My husband picked up on them seemingly niggling each other a few matches backlit really is time for a change the season could come to nothing if things remain the same.

It was especially clear when Sam, for about the last 20 minutes, chimed in and decided sod it ! Then we were at our most dangerous.

Bateman has been the only constant decent player of late.
