They really need to give it a rest! Got back from the game and flicked Sky Sports News on and all the talk is of Ben Flower and how he's in trouble again. The supposed incident is a total non event that when watched in full speed hardly even registers in your mind as being anything more then what goes on in every rugby league game.

If he cops a ban for that then his career is done.

I think he's quite safe, unlike Sims.

There was sod all over in it. He was trying get his arms round the Wire player and cuffed his own man by mistake. But he's got himself a bad name (which is kind of his own fault) and we know what those idiots on Sky are like. If Wigan get to the Grand Final 75% of the build-up will be about "this time last year" and Ben Flower.

No-one will try harder, or be more aware of last year... He has a point to prove, and team mates to pay back... IF we get there, it's more likely one of the opponents will be in trouble for having an early dig.

I don't care if he gets a ban. It was good to see the Wigan pack stand up against the two houses Sim and Westwood. I'll guarantee that Wane showed them the cowardly attack by Sim on young halfback (Williams) in the last game we played there. That night Wigans pack were timid, they weren't last night. I guess Sim will get another ban for the "stamp" and again we didn't even get a penalty!!

Anyway, agree with Rogues about us being aggressive. I've never seen Mossop as fired up as the 5 minutes after Sims stamped on him. Maybe someone should stamp on his hand every time he comes onto the field.

Stevo for many years has been making snide comments about Wigan and targeting players for his negative comments? Newton, Hock, McIllorum and now Flower. While they are not saints the do not deserve what Stevo dishes out.

Look at other clubs; do McGuire, Chase, Hardacre and Westwood get the same level of vindictive comments despite their on and off field antics?

He was commentating at a Wigan game as the salary cap came in, and said it was good because "We have to find a way to stop this lot", and looked over his shoulder at Wigan.

I was more saddened by the fact that this was on Sky Sports News. I can understand rugby league people having certain bias but that was just cheap last night. I'd be appalled if I was within the club.
