Id have to say 35-34 to Wigan with there being so many smaller young lads thrown in i think the defence will be a bit leaky, but id much rather watch a game like this than watch us put 62 points past em it gets boring at times this is what our league needs, more competitive games. If Hock was playing id have to say id fancy Widnes with +10 on the handicap. Fact is he isnt i think we should still beat em.

The pack is still pretty strong and experienced so we'll certainly go close. I think a lot will depend on Logan Tomkins ability to step up and control things. He's been pretty ordinary so far IMO but he's the most experienced pivot we'll have on Friday and he needs to take control.

If we pull this off it'll be a real classic. Genuinely excited to watch a game we might not win other than the usual Wire/Leeds/Hudds. Widnes will surely be buoyed knowing we have quite a few players out. I don't want to jinx it so I'll go:

Hoping to see some promise from the youngsters.

I hope our eager young pack will gain the upper hand and allow our young halves to unleash the backline. Having 4 props firing well is crucial - one of the main reasons we struggled against Wakefield was we only had 3 "proper" props. And we need Logan to have his best ever game for Wigan, along with Powell if he is the back-up hooker

At the end of the day the Widnes team is playing week in week out and have some ex/internationals in it. It's a very young Wigan team with some key positions missing, I'm looking forward to seeing the 'next generation' and think we'll still boss the forward game, it's of we can take advantage elsewhere
