| Bentham was almost as bad as is today.
Anybody seen the Charnley disallowed try yet? It was a big moment in the game and looked nailed on for me although it is difficult to judge from 150 yards away in the south stand.

tbh nobody cheered (or ive gone totally deaf).......most of the stadium didnt even realise he.d come close until bentham sent it upstairs.
i think only josh thought he had scored, and on the big screen he looked to ground it short.
ill watch replay on tv later, but im 99% it was the correct decision

| The ref let Saints lie on the Wigan player an awful lot in the first 30 mins and generally let Saints get away with an awful lot around the play the ball.

| He was short then saints pulled Charnley over the line. It was a try. cummins disallowed it with a baffling decision.

It was a bizarre decision, not least because Charnley was clearly the victim of a high tackle in the run up to the attempted touchdown. If he didn't make the line it was at least partly the result of a high shot that we should have got a penalty for.
We weren't good today (Saints were pretty ordinary too - Wire would seem to have little to worry about in the play-offs on that showing today....) but the big talking point is sadly the refereeing, which was very, very poor.

| Apart from Ganson on Friday, I haven't seen anything from the refs to whinge about. Thought Bentham refereed it ok today. Tried to let the game flow as much as possible.

| It was a try. The only things that it could have been disallowed for are 'double movement', resulting in a Saints penalty, or 'held up' resulting in PTB on the 10m line. Seeing as we got the ball back on the try line on second tackle, then why exactly was it disallowed??? It certainly wasn't short, he was over the line and it was grounded. Absolutely baffled.

| LMS try wasn't a try either. It went over the line, yes, but only if you can score holding the ball with your knees!! And he knew it, because he acknowledged when I shouted that he'd dropped it!

| I said at the time that he had knocked on. When he picked it up to kick it into the crowd, he had to regather it from between his knees!

| No thoughts on the forward pass for the Richards try on the back of six penalties, or why he didnt have the to send Coley off for the high shot directly in front of him??

Which one of those penalties wasnt a penalty? Do you not think a Saints player should have also been sent to the sin bin, particularly Wellens, as a result of these professional fouls?
The Coley high tackle wasnt that bad at all as the Saints player was falling. I am confident there will be no case to answer.
The pass to Richards certainly wasnt any more forward than the one by Shenton to Lomax (I think) for his try in the first half.
