| Under 20s went down to defeat against Warrington today. Good game but Wigan lost ground part way through the second half and although they rallied in the final quarter it was too much to claw back. I think Dom Crosby missing most of the match played a big part in that.
BTW Whilst on about it the RFL have revised the fixture lists for the Under 16s and 15s with two of the three home matches at each level seemingly being played at Orrell. On 7th May there seems to be a Under 15s, 16s and 18s treble header v Castleford. Will try and find confirmation off the club from that.
The Under 18s start next Sunday (3rd April) btw at Orrell v Leeds, Kick Off 11:00am.

| U18's won 44 - 40 in the friendly today at Salford.
Plenty room for improvement in the defence.

| We ended up losing it on goal kicks I think. Wire got into an early lead before we could really find any rhythm but the lads must have been watching the first team too much because they came up with so many silly errors which made things just too difficult. Both sides had very good kicking games but I think our stand out players were Tomkins, Spencer and Russell. It was fairly evenly matched over the 80 minutes and we could have won it had some of the passes stuck.

I bet Sainsfan would have enjoyed that game all attack and no defence.

Nope. I like open play and great defence.
Warrington are looking good this season.

Warrington won both games last season and then finished up with nothing.

| The Under 18's came back well against Salford after a poor start which saw them trailing 16-0 after about 15 minutes. They certainly need to work on their defence out wide and also when defending the high ball. That said, it was only a friendly and they did play some decent rugby in what was an entertaining open game.

| If any of the young lads want to avoid being suspended for a few matches, I recommend they watch carvell's perfect execution of an example of a "Chicken Wing" on Lockers, Friday night. Should be included in all the training vids.

| The lad Carberry should be in the Under 20s, I think they missed him today off the bench!

Didn't Jack Murphy take all of the conversions? I'm pretty sure he was the one who missed the first 2.

I had it in my head it was Powell but it does seem strange looking back. Anyone else?
