I did wonder if my feelings where made worse on this matter by the frustrating evening we all endured last night, so I decided to see how I felt today before bringing it up....
I feel no different, so here goes

I'd love to know what the SS drummers think they sound like? The constant pointless banging of the skin with little thought for tune, rhythm or anything that will help the rest of the fans get behind the team is bloody mind boggling.

A game like last night - and an occasion like last night, as some have described it as - was, for me, crying out for a good rousing atmosphere to get behind the lethargic Wigan team and spur them on. Especially in periods of frustration and errors...

when I looked in bewilderment to the top of the SS last night (on more than one occasion) I was flabbergasted to see that one of the two drummers was no more than 9/10 years old? The other being possibly 14? Now don’t get me wrong, if they can play it and help the team, fair enough but Christ they're both bloody useless!

Many on here were of the opinion that the pointless droning drumming that these lot put us through at the Quins game earlier in the year was detrimental to the home team’s chances as it seemed to set a rhythm for Quins who went onto beat us. Last night was the same for me.

I’ve tried to keep this as polite as I possibly can but I’ve lost the will just thinking back about it so:
Would you either get a bloody grip or kindly SOD OFF! icon_beat.gif

How could these kids be to blame for causing the away team to gain a rhythm and win?.
Its not fair everyone on here keep blaming the people at the top of the SS for it.

Sure, yesterday was one of those games where we needed the fans to really get behind the boys and generate an atmosphere, and those guys at the top did O.K imo, sadly the others didn't

And all the people who complain about the durmming 'ruining your enjoyment of the game' should just leave these guys to it, as its what they enjoy doing. All be it they may not be good at it, but at least let them try.

We thought someone was doing some DIY under the stand with that constant monotonous banging noise !!

Seriously though dont they realise that if no one actually joins in with the drums its cos they're telling them something ?

HOW DARE YOU !!!

A flat cap and a memory of Billy Boston will be more than enough.

That drumming last night was absolutely awful. I was sat hoping that they would just shut the f**k up! It absolutely did my head in. They think they're creating an atmosphere, when infact they were just ruining it and drowning out any voices that may have actually been singing. The fact that the few Fartown supporters that travelled were louder than them proves that... And they didn't have a drum.
