don't like to give praise to saints but thought it was a good idea what they are doing regarding challenge cup final tickets if they get there,if you are a season tkt holder you fill a form in hand it in at the stadium and then if they win the semi you are guaranteed a ticket as they then process your form,why cant wigan do this

Saints marketing is garbage.
Last nights match was marketed as all ticket as they usually are v Wigan. Then end up being able to pay on the gate, again as usually happens.
I don't think Messrs Hogan, Collinson & Warburton need to learn anything from Saints about marketing.

Or pre match entertainment. I dont normally take much of an interest in what goes on on the pitch other than the game, but as i was on my own last night ( ) I was watching and it made our fire works against Leeds look like the Haigh Hall Bomb fire Night display. Six 8 year olds jumping with flags, and a bloke kicking balls in the air.

We have done this the last couple of years as have Leeds. It saves having to queue or phone up and they post them out to you as well. We have found it a great time saving idea.

Regarding Lippy's post - You never put fireworks on when Saints come to your place. Also regarding our cheerleaders - we have different age groups and the troup as a whole keep winning European Championships - and World Championship medals. The weather sometimes puts paid to what you can actually perform on a wet pitch. Stop moaning - just because you lost.

if we beat warrington it means you will either have to go to the dw stadium and queue up for maybe ages or spend a fortune trying to get through on the phone,the way saint do it means you dont have that bother as they sort your tkt out for you

It makes sense for them to do this imo as it'll help with the rush between next week and the cup final if they do make it through.

I tell you what though dependant on who Saints have back, the Giants will give them a really tough time next week. They look like a side thats perfectly suited to tight knock out games because they're solid.

I do think Saints will 'just' edge it though.

It's called a 'What if' form not a 'when'. It makes no assumptions whatsoever as to who will win the semi.

It only gets processed should they win, partly for the purchasers convenience and partly I should imagine to save them having to cope with huge queues.
