So it's a real big game on Friday the biggest in a while and I have noticed on the forum a lot of nervy posts/comments creeping in and I can well understand as I to am a bit edgy about the game . What I don't like to see are certain post that seem to be premeturely making excuses to use in the face of defeat using stats about Wins and loses when mr Bentham is in the middle was one that stood out .While these stats cannot be denied let's just start looking at some possitive for friday please and get behind the team . lets not forget this time last year wigan gave KR a good spanking and overall in the SL period KR have beaten Wigan only 3 time to Wigans 6 wins . sorry to go on a bit on this post but I do think there needs to be more possitve posts and less premeture excuses .

We'll win and then we will beat Leeds in the semi. Mind you I have got it completely wrong so far.

I'm extremely confident we'll win as well on Friday and that we have a very good chance of beating Leeds or Saints in the semi-final and then Grand Final.

TBH, in the light of certain statistics, however, one has to be less confident about the outcome of a tight game with a certain referee in the middle. When we are consistently given the benefit of the doubt with 50/50 or even 90/10 decisions, I might change my mind!

The greater reaasons why we win and lose are mainly down to injuries and that can be said of most sides. We do though seem to suffer when we don't have four props in the 17. When we have four we win, when we don't we win against the "lesser" clubs but not against the contenders for the GF.
If we can keep four in the 17 for the remainer of the season we can go all the way and win. We have beaten all the teams left in the comp and can do it again.

As for Bentham, having been at Bradford and seen the Quins game, blaming him for those defeats is plain daft.
Blaming him for the losses to Leeds in the cup and Hudds, that's an entirely different matter.

It's important the players leaving nothing in the changing room and give everything they've got. I'm sure they will, but it's knock out time now and second chances don't exist.

Cut out the penalties and daft play and we'll win. We have to play the percentage game and make sure we take the chances given to us. Do all that and I'm extremely confident we'll win, don't and it's going to be touch and go.

One thing that disappointed me against Leeds was the fact that we conceded so many points. For the supposed best defense in the league we were broken in my opinion quite easily. If we want to progress and eventually win the whole thing it's important we get back to our defensive best, whether we can do that in the space of a week I'm unsure.

Win tomorrow and Wigan will go on to win the grand final. confidence is eveything with the current Wigan team.
