what a brutal match, some massive hits on both sides, but credit to warrington, their defence was outstanding. we should have been a few scores up, but again, awasome defense. morley and carvell were unbeatable. thought the turning point was coleys off load on about the 2nd tackle, he'd clearly got over the advantage line and all we needed was a quick play the ball. silly of load, penalty plus one other and they score. cost us teh game imo. the only downpoint for us was riddell, didn't look interested, looked lazy, why are we bothering. i dont know the situation with smith but if he does return, got to have tommy and mike mc at hooker with sam in full time. the guy is a waste of space. fantastci advert for the game, well done to both teams

Totally agree about the Coley idiotic offload on second tackle - he has great performances and then does something stupid. The momentum of the game was lost for us on that offload. You really cant blame Nobby for stuff like that!!

What match were you watching, ran it in on a couple of occasions with some venom. The only downpoint IMO was Fielden...pretty self explanatory really

Only downpoint was riddell??? I think you watched a different game than me. Some poor performances out there tonight from quite a few.

Coley played absolutley shocking, same with Riddell.

Stupid playing Ainscough, and I think Sam was a bad idea aswell, but Smith wasn't available so he had no choice with that.

Didn't have a clue - Only player that stood out was O'Loughlin.

Pretty much spot on. Cut our losses and get rid of Riddell now. Leuluai was disappointing - must have touched the ball about 5 times all game, which for a 7 is embarrasing.

Noble really can't win can he. A few on here would be up in arms if he dropped Ainscough another week, now this icon_rolleyes.gif

Feilden and Coley both giving away silly penalty's at the POTB stupid play when we are in front you would think they would learn as they do it every week

our effort cannot be faulted but we are simply not good enough, Bilko nailed it on the head in his match preview, we have NO leaders, we went to pieces and the same cuplrits gave away stupid penalties, Sam tompkins was non existent in attack tonight, are props never run onto the ball at any speed or depth. our attack is non existent, ainscough showed again why he has a lot to learn, the try King scored was made so easy, he did not even make an effort to go for the ball, king is taller but he made it so easy for him, no challenge.

we look devoid of ideas in attack for a second week, terrible running lines no depth to it.

Wigan's defense was excellent for 80 mins again as it was against KR but we simly do not score enough points and fall to pieces in close games.

well done Warrington you deserved to win

i disagree, i thought there was plenty of passion for most of our squad tonight. fielden got smashed twice early on, yet put his hand up and went again. cant ask for more. lets not take credit away from wire tonight. everything we tried was cancelled out. Hock never stopped but warrington took hiom out every time. Lockers ran his blood to water,. the bottom line is wire were better. i dont think anyone would have a got a result against them tonight. after 8 mins they hadn't touched the ball yet we only scored off a kick. just because we lost doesn't mean the passion and effort wasn't there

What you can blame Nobby for is having a pack of forwards who never run from depth. Warrington were let off the hook tonight. But then most teams we play are let off the hook. That's why we usually lose by only a few points. Yet another game we could and should have won.

But if there's any consolation it's that Noble will be the one to pay the price.

Sometimes nice to watch the match on TV as you get to analyse the game properly.

- Locky - keeps coming up with schoolboy errors. You would think he would learn, but he doesn't.

- Fielden - still underrated in defence. Attack has gone AWOL.

- Ainscough - highlighted exactly why Nobby left him out previously. Totally at fault for the King try. End of.

- Tomkins- missing another half back. Lulu is a 9, never a 7.

Other than that same candidates, same performances.

Ref was awful all night btw.
