Apparently its going to be 17th and 18th May, and not the usual Bank Holiday weekend because One Direction are on that weekend.

Yeah the magic weekend is the 17th and 18th may next season. And yes it was moved due to the sh*te direction concert. The stage and the plastic mat etc that they have to put down on the pitch for the concert will have to be down over bank holiday weekend, also they'll have rehearsals for the concert as well.

The RFL have another year left on the agreement with MCFC , and would have to buy out of it to play it elsewhere.
I just can't believe they didn't block book the May Bank Holiday weekend in said agreement . |

It's not yet been confirmed that it isn't going to be that weekend? They have a concert on a full 6 days after the Rugby has finished. Considering the stage, lighting, sound system etc is constructed by the roadies of the group, the only thing the stadium need to do is put some boards down over the grass. Even at one an hour it still wouldn't take six days!
Someone's put two and two together here and come up with potato. |
