And apparently the ref is from Australia   Surely the ref for this game shouldnt be from the home nation. |

Me & Twosevenzero have said this for the last 15 years.
When they come over here they should get Bob Connolly reffing with John C on the Video ref.
Hey John, Just check that for me will you, Aussies think they've scored, FIND a reason why they haven't!
Put the Aussies up in a dingy B&B somewhere, give the lot of em food poisoning.
Ask the Aussies, which Team would you pick for England? When they write it down, rip it up in their faces and go and pick 6 of the roughest punch up merchants going and knock 7 bells out of em!
We might only lose by 10/15 then !

i thought the ref was poor last time out, he owes us but I doubt that will count for anything and as usual all the 50/50's will go against us, but I agree with a comment made earlier that it is highly unlikely the ref will have too big an influence on the end result.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

Glad Tomkins is at FB but those half backs are not good enough to beat saints. I would have played Brown and Robinson just in the hope they might click like they can for Hudds.
Would prefer Burgess at loose, hope they keep him on when Fielden comes on.

I've always said, the way to beat the Ockers is to start a punch up early doors. For me, that's exactly what England should have done last week against NZ when they came back to 18-10 and had NZ on the ropes, briefly. |
