| Barry McKenzie has visited Wigan 3 times now.
As far as British towns/cities go I have to concede I actually quite enjoyed it there.
Friendly people, a Walkabout ...what more can a bloke ask for.
But your meat and potato 'pies'...........???????
What the hell 'meat' is in those things?
I'm used to scrumptious Aussie meat pies....served with sauce on the top.
The things you sell in Wigan are possibly the most revolting products I have ever eaten
The filling has all the consistency of regurgitated pigs vomit.....and probably tastes the same.
None of the locals could tell me what meat was in them....but as I only speak Australian and they all seemed to speak a language I had never heard before we didnt get far.
Can anyone tell me what 'meat' is used???

I too have tasted these pies and i have to say.......they are a load of crap. I spent 3hrs looking for the thing only to wish that i had brought a stack of pooles pies with me just to show the aussie numpty what real pies were. He wasn't all that impressed when i said they was crap, but hey.....thats what they were.

| I had an aussie pie once, it had mash potato on the top and peas in it, I felt like my mouth had been raped. As if the peas weren't bad enough the mash meant it didn't have the structural integrity to be able to eat it without a fork, an amateur effort all round.
