| I would have gone, but I have only got back from holiday this evening, and having looked at the price for my season ticket seats (£23 each??!!) then I'll not bother...

| Whats the crack with this 5 for 4 deal?
I've been trying to book 5 tickets online but it's not offering any discount. It says on there it's available until 5pm on Thursday so it can't be that it's ended.
The ticket sales on there look around the 6k mark which is no shock.

| Pretty expensive and it is on tele after all. Doubt the punters will miss out on a classic, after all its the equivalent of the quarters of the challenge cup (with a second chance next week thrown in). Last year there was 6k on, expect the same this year

It's not available in the west stand.
It might be that you have to go through the ticket office for that.
The point to make is the RFL take over the play off ticket sales, which perhaps explains the poor sales in effect as the clubs see no reason to spend money marketing the games for them! I'm hearing sales are approx 6,000 also, which considering the attendance last year was just 6,790, is not bad in comparison at this stage.

I'm trying for tickets for the south stand but it's not having it.
I'll probably just end up paying on the gate.
The sales are ok in comparison. I'd guess around 8-9k on which as poor as it is could be a lot worse. One day the RFL will wake up and realise the format is pathetic.

| There really needs to be some sort of half price P/O tickets for ST holders deal like for the Magic weekend or something like bring a friend for free, or include round 1 tickets in the price of the ST.
People don't want to/can't afford to pay extra for a ticket to a game when we might end up playing the same team 2 weeks later anyway (as we have for the last 2 seasons). Some people will want to save their money for the GF.
I actually can't believe the RFL haven't done anything about it, if they are going to keep this ridiculous playoff format that hardly any of the fans are happy with, then at least make it more attractive to actually attend the games, particularly when every game is on TV anyway!
Some RL fans do seem to have this "I've bought my season ticket, I'm not spending owt else" mentality but the RFL seem to be doing everything they can to give people reasons to stay away, same can be said for CC and the Exiles games.

| The 5 for 4 deal is on the same band of tickets only (ie - all adult) and I guess that you need to go through the ticket office as opposed to the e-ticketing.
The playoffs don't draw big crowds anymore in the early stages. We only just got over 12k last year against St Helens FFS. The RFL and Sky will of course tell us that they're the pinnacle and that everyone loves them.

| Given the dreadful crowds for play off games I'd let season ticket holders in for £5. Nobody makes any money from these games indivudally anyway.

| In contrast if we still had the top 6 system we would probably be looking at 20k+ for a place in the GF v Warrington. I know which one I would rather attend. I know which one would be better to watch on tv, and I know which one is the most fair reward for finishing in the top 2.

Or in the top 5 system we would be having a week off before facing either Wire or Saints for a place in the final.

| We're going, but we knew the attendance wouldn't justify buying tickets in advance, We'll buy at the turnstiles on the night. Suspect quite a few will do the same.
I resent paying a booking fee to buy in advance when there will be no issue getting decent seats on the night.

| I dont think any of the 4 games this weekend will have a crowd in excess of 10,000. Considering the 4 home teams are Wigan, Wire, Leeds & Hull, that will be a total embarrassment.
However, if the RFL set the prices, why are the prices for the games different? Surely they should all be set at the same level if one organisation is setting the prices for all games.
