Whilst being a fantastic concept, this could go horribly wrong.

If these trucks are used properly they will be in Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle and London and spreading our game across the country.

However I have a bad feeling that they will remain in the 'heartlands' aka Lancashire and Yorkshire. Time will tell I suppose but a good concept for now.

Wonder if we'll see them on that Channel 5 programme about the Stobart trucks? Should be a good bit of national exposure if we do.

It looks like weve been handed the 'Chilled' trucks which do seem to do plenty of mileage in delivering to our troops abroad.

I really wish rugby league would be mentioned with Super League advertisements sometimes. I know I should simply be glad that the game is getting some good exposure, but when for example the Sky Sports News presenters say '...and now to Super League' they could be talking about anything as far as the neutral sports fan is concerned.

Still, an excellent idea and I'm delighted that we have a sponsor who can offer something more than just sponsorship money.

Think this is a great idea but just a small point whilst talking about Ads, shouldnt the Engage Banner Ad at the right hand side of the page be replaced with this? Perahps each clubs site could feature there own truck?

Is not as good of a deal as people think. These will only be on 100 of their trucks and Stobart company has over 2225 tucks accross the country. Plus SL aren't getting any money from this. We'll hardly ever see these trucks

The Wigan observer were expecting 300 trucks so it's disappointing to see the actual figure as 100.

I've got to admit I feel this is a gamble turning down £750,000 per season from betfred to go with this deal.

Could we not have taken the cash and paid for a similar sort of deal with Stobart or elsewhere and still had change left over? I ask that but I literally don't have the first idea how much these sort if things cost.

My main concern is also where these trucks will be used, If for instance they are to be used on routes across the north west of england it would be a waste of time.

it seems as if both "companies" are giving each other free exposure without money being involved. I really hope the RFL have something to fall back in monetry terms. Maybe Heinz BIG soup and various other companys being able to pay for bits of exposure. Just read an article on the bbc website claiming Engage paid 1m a year for exlusivity. If stobart havent paid for that sort of deal then i would hope someone else can also get involved.

The rfl seem to be making this deal sound like its worth money because of the exposure Stobart will be giving us in return. but 100 trucks out of over 2000 doesn't sound as good as it could be.
