If the Brothers go. The RFL are resigned to the fact were never gonna catch up so why bother watching.

RFL are a joke and need to help our game.

We should boycott the matches because we want Sam to stay. Whilst the Leeds fan can boycott the series because they don't want Sam to play. Finally united over common ground. icon_wink.gif

Wouldn't go as far as that, but something definitely needs to be done. I have a feeling Joel will go now, with a view of Sam going at the end of next season. If Sam gets boo'd again in the 4 Nations then that will help him make his choice IMO.

Didn't they both sign long term deals last year with Wigan? If they're not willing to honour thos contracts then f*ck em'. RL spent years taking the best talent from union and now the shoe seems to be on the other foot people don't like it.

We need to grow the games finances so clubs can spend the full cap first, then we can eventually increase the cap and keep these type of players.

Not sure what benefit it will have by spitting your dummy out and jot attending England games will have. It'll only make things worse.

So stop the big clubs being able to expand and grow whilst we wait for the small minded clubs to catch up? No thanks.

Good examples! I bet it doesn't have half the impact it does on players going from League to Union though.

I think people need to calm down a bit icon_lol.gif Whatever happens Is upto Joel at the end of the day. People are going on about how the rfl are a joke and don't have enough money. So how is boycotting england games going to improve the situation?

Although I respect your views, most Wigan fans where quite happy to see the back of Eastmond. Me as a Saints fan first and England fan 2nd will still be devastated if Sam leaves. The boy is a freak at times, an absolute gem of a player.

Impossible nonsense. Why would the game's finances magically grow without stars playing the game? More mascots?

Either League gets real or it dies. A slow, slow death, but eventually death (as a professional sport).

i imagine the amount of money that they will be paid will have significantly more of an impact that some other fans booing him. think logically

Whilst I agree that boycotting England isn't right, the OP is expressing the frustration that many people have. I don't know if its a majority (on these boards it looks about 50/50), but a lot of us think the RFL are very bad for the sport. There's apparently no way to express that, and no recogntition from the RFL that things could be done better.

That's why people are forced to make almost unthinkable suggestions.
