With Noble's reluctance to give Sam Tomkins a run in the side, Ainscough a bit part player and not a regular. Is it a possibility that another big Super League team comes in and gives IL an offer he can not turn down. I am sure that these players would move on to get first team rugby.

i can see ainscough becoming a regular now to be honest, if noble is true to his word and picks players on form ainscough will be the first player on the team sheet next week.

Ainscough isn't even a bit part player! He's only played one SL game, it's a joke! These young lads don't deserve how they're getting treated! They deserve to be given a shot. They're not gaining anything through sitting on the sidelines and playing in the reserves. How are they meant to develop?

He was still playing U18 academy last year. We've only played three games this season
He has plenty time, have some patience. |

Thats nothing to do with us Brian, he has a fair point.
Based on last night, Ainscough should start every game from this point onwards. But i have no confidence in Noble that he will continue to pick him.

Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.

In our defeat to Saints we had Penny,Riley, Blythe, Harrison that have come through our youth system. That is an improvement on recent years. However Rogues there is no point producing quality if you are not going to develop them and let them play, giving other clubs the chance to reap the benefits. You advocate the youth system but is the Wigan club utlising it to its effective best, probably not. |
