I was hoping for the Kiwi as the pressure on him would have huge both from the England camp and then the crowd on the night.

After the displays by the referees from 'down under' these last two weeks, what's the betting we will be heatedly discussing another atrocious refereeing display at the weekend ?

I'm not sure it'll matter really. I can't see us doing em any way! Hope I'm wrong!!

Should have had a neutral ref. Thierry Alibert is neutral and is better than any ref in this years 4 nations.

Absolutely disgusting why??? Who makes the decisions in any type of test match the ref should always be neutral like the above mentioned why not give Thierry Alibert a go ??

As long as International RL is refereed by none-neutral refs out sport will continue to be laughed at.

It really is terrible.

That's my major concern. I know the ref won't be bias towards them as he's a professional but it looks ridiculous to the watching world.



It makes no sense at all when we now have a kiwi ref in the NRL and a French ref in superleague. When we didn't have those a few years back and we had to pick them from semi pro comps this sort of move was understandable but not now.
