| Here's what I've heard today
Shaun Wane has the head coach job
Harris is lead assistant
Mark Bitcon is going to South Sydney
U20's are getting a new assistant coach
U18's are getting a new coach
Deacon may be going for assistant but thinking of playing for one more year.
Obviously the first two are well known but does anyone know anything about the rest?

| Also heard that Steve Hampson is taking over Mark Bitcon's role and that Matty Peet (works with 20's) is becoming a trainer along with the guy who joined partly through this year

| Bitcon would be as big a loss as Madge IMO.

| I thought Mark Bitcom was joining the England set up as conditioner , surely he would not be able to do that job if he was heading down under

| I'd rather Bitcon stayed for his whole career but that's not going to happen so if he can pass on his expertise to Hampson that'd be great, Hampson does have S&C experience at Lancs CCC so he must already have a decent knowledge of the job.

| Only thing im happy about there is Wane staying. Even so with that I would rather him be assistant for one maybe two more years.
Bitcon going is a massive massive blow.
Harris I just dont understand.
Deacon IMO cant go on for another year. He was a breath of fresh air last year but now we have Finch who is doing the job Deacs did, I think he should just go out on (hopefully) a high this year before injurys catch him up.
As for Under 20s and Under 18s, I couldnt even say who the coaches are for them now anyway?

I've heard this from a few people yet no one has given a valid reason or valid alternative.

I would be very very worried if this is true. It would indicate a return to the bad old days of jobs for the boys, rather than bringing in the best people we can find to fulfil the hugely important roles within the coaching set up. Hampson, is quite clearly not up to the job.

| hopefully the bitcon rumours are untrue however you can see why madge would want him with him at South Sydney. Harris is a good recruitment, hes done a good job at wales and at crusaders despite all the behind the scenes stuff.

Well my reasons are that hes failed miserably at Crusaders, hes learnt a big part of his coaching experience from Brian Noble (we've been there, done that) and theres just something about him that doesnt fill me with confidence. As for an alternative, like I said i'd rather see Wane be the assistant for 1 or 2 more years with someone with more experience on the throne, but obviously it seems like no-one perfect is available so I'd rather an assistant to Wane be someone like Lam or even Scully.

About him staying at PNG?
They are. He's resigned.
