No real damage to Sam and RM gets a ban - stitches for Joel and no ban for Senior.

| The RFL is run by Gary Hetherington and Cummings. Bunch of idiots. You cant say they are inconsistent because they are consistent. Consistently bad.

It's pathetic and a complete farce - unless you are the panel's golden boy or team. How can you be inconsistent over the same 'misdemeaner'. They are supposed to follow the same guidelines but with different people sitting on the panel everyweek how can you be consistent. The RFL should employ the same panel week in week out. Only then will you get any sort of consistency.

| We really shouldn't be surprised any more. Once again the RFL reinforces the feeling amongst us fans that it's a two bit operation run by a monkey in a suit riding the gravy train.

| The main problem is the RFL have a number of different people who sit on the panel on a rota basis - this is bound to lead to inconsistency. They need to have a dedicated team who do not change from week to week.

| Complete joke. If anything Senior's was worse because Joel was standing up whereas Sam was on his knees.
Mind you even if Joel was on his knees he'd still be taller than Sam standing up

| McGoldrick has previous for this offence.
Senior does not.
That could well be the difference.
What bothers me is not the comparison of Senior with McGoldrick although it is the same offence.
My concern is those players initially banned for one game last week, Coley, Westwood & Sykes. None of those players injured their opponent. Senior certainly did. Yet it was Senior who was the one player who did not get a ban.
The individuals on the Disp panel are different from one week to another and that's perhaps why interpretations need to be looked at.
The RFL say of course that the Dis Panel are independent, ok then but to whom are they accountable?

| I wonder if he was up for playing an international match (or a semi-final or final) this weekend if he would have got away with a fine and warning towards future conduct.

| Yes I know Sykes played v Hudds.
I was just saying the three were initially banned whereas Senior was not.
McGoldrick's a regular visitor to the dis panel.
Rumour has it he has his own parking space!

If that is the case, how can they not give Senior a ban for actual bodily harm to an opposing player? whilst banning players who have only "put others at risk of injury"
it really is a FARCE that committee.
