| Tough schedule coming up late July/August. 4 games in 16 days from 26th July to 10th August. Will it derail our title challenge?

Possibly- I'm not sure why we couldnt use the international weekend for the rearranged Leigh fixture.

There is every chance but on the other hand, now is a great time for a breather for some of our lads and we could see some game time for Eckersley, Douglas, Hill, Chan, Walters and Farrimond and maybe Eseh if he is back at Wigan. It's how we roll.

| We've got the squad to rotate, I doubt there'll be many players doing all 4 games.

Thats got me scratching my head too. Will it really hurt England's chances so much not to have Wigan players in a friendly against France?

| Hopefully, although it won't happen, the Wigan lads get pulled from the internationals.
There has to be one goal for them and that's going back to back. That's bigger than any win Vs France.

| This period will determine the LLS. The saints game after this run will be very tough.
Use the squad wisely.
Im sure Peet will see this period as a challenge.

| We have the squad for sure but there's a limit to the amount of disruption we can keep throwing at the team and still expect it to fire on all cylinders. I can quite easily see defeats during this run that otherwise wouldn't happen. In addition, fatigue causes injury so there's potential for disruption after this run too.
I think it essential we get these next 2 games right with regards to rotation so players don't go into that run already fatigued.
With regards to the England game; I agree it would have been an ideal time to fit in the rearranged game but I'm pretty sure Matt Peet wouldn't want to prevent players representing their country. I think Saints under Woolf wouldn't have hesitated but it just doesn't seem Peet's way.

| I actually think it could be a real positive for us. It's a tough schedule but it will allow for plenty of rotation and that will help keep the whole squad motivated and match sharp. It should also offer up some chances for the likes of Douglas, Farrimond, Forber etc and that gives us longer term benefits.

| It's not ideal but the games either side of the Leigh game have been moved a day further out to support it. And you've got 10/15 remaining games at home. Forgive me if the violins don't come out

There is definitely that and I've no doubt the Wigan staff and players will treat it as such. We have enough experience of Matt Peet now to know he sees any adversity as opportunity. That said, it would only take a couple injuries to make this spell exceptionally difficult.
Is there an argument for playing the props in 2 groups of 4 here to aid continuity of combinations? I don't ever recall it being done before and I'm not sure Peet would go that way but we have the personnel for it so it's an interesting thought if nothing else!
