2572.jpg Ah, good taste!
What a dreadful thing!
Taste is the enemy of creativeness.

The ex-Wigan winger has been in custody for six months as he faces 13 offences including aggravated possession of ice, supplying ice, producing marijuana, possessing ketamine as well as weapons charges.
If convicted, he could be jailed for up to 25 years, reports the Courier Mail.
He is due to make an application for bail at Queensland's Mackay Magistrates Court next Friday.
Problems with a videolink prevented him making the application as scheduled today.
Dallas became a huge fans' favourite during seven seasons with Wigan, during which he won the 2002 Challenge Cup.
The former Queensland and Australia star hung up his boots in 2006 and, in recent times, his life has taken a downward spiral.
A year ago, he pleaded guilty to three charges including the theft of a coffee table, worth around £360, from a furniture franchise in November 2019, reported the Daily Mercury.
Magistrate Damien Dwyer said at the time in less than 12 months."
Dallas' solicitor, Rosie Varley, told the court then that the dad-of-three had been receiving disability pension for the last 12 months.

| Terrible news.....
Not excusing him, but I wonder if all the head shots he took have any bearing. He got hit high more than any player i have ever watched.

Knew he had been in trouble for some time, but didnt realise the offences were this bad.
Terrible.
If I remember rightly, didnt he claim mental health issues when in court a few years back when he was living on the streets and stealing?
Its very sad, however if he is pushing the things about as it says, there are plenty of people (quiet rightly) who would forget the nostalgia very quickly.
What a mess. Feel for his family as it doesn't look like he will be coming back from this one for a long time.

| Always seemed a quiet lad so it’s surprising. He was an incredible player for us and the fans will never forget him placing his boots in the centre of the pitch after his last game. We can only hope whatever happens regards prison, that he can get his head sorted and get his life back on track.

You can see from his twitter that he clearly has some sort of mental health issue. I'm sure drugs won't be helping either. Hope he gets the help he needs.

It’s drugs that are the problem I think, saw some disturbing videos a few years on social media.

That could always have stemmed from head trauma.

Persistent headaches could lead to an addiction to painkillers and that in turn could lead to worse.
Of course he's made some bad choices and I'm not looking to defend him here, but I also wouldn't be surprised given everything that is coming out about head issues if that wasn't the start of a very bad journey for him.
It's not like he was known for it while he was over here like other players may have been.

You could be right but you’re clutching at straws imo and it would be a pretty naff excuse, there is also a big difference between players enjoying stuff on a weekend to becoming an addict to a really heavy drug and having their life ruined. Either way it’s horrible and a massive shame, by all accounts he was a model professional over here and kept his nose clean, was a great player too, I remember the first season at the JJB and it seemed like every week he would either make/score a long range break/try. Hard to have too much sympathy though.

| Like you said...model pro. So something made him go from that to this. I'm sure he didn't just wake up one day and say "i'm gonna try ice"
