I disagree, I thought even though it was 2 tries apiece hull looked a bigger attacking threat. More clean breaks, offloads etc. They should have had more than 2 tries, especially the ellis one. He should have been making sure that was grounded, it arguably did touch the whitewash.

Hull were distinctly average again.

Hull overall were more of a threat. Until the last 10 mins we didn't chance our arm. That was probably tactical as it was wet and slippy. I've said for several years that offloads are missing from our game, they create a lot of uncertainty in defences. Hull were good for the win though I though the scoreline was probably a fair reflection of how close it was, if Manfredi catches the ball we win.

Losing culture permeates through this first team now when it comes to the big games. It's not arrogance to demand the best signings and want an attractive style of rugby, it's what the club has been built on for decades.
