| Good win for Wire last night setting up Thursday nicely.
Nice to finally have to good news on injuries. Williams, Crosby, Joel, Lockers, Farrell and outside chance Manfredi can all return.
So many options to pick from for once.
I'd go
Sarginson
Manfredi
Gelling
Bateman
Charnley
Williams
Smith
Flower
Powell
Clubb
Farrell
Tomkins
O'Loughlin
Tautai
Crosby
Isa
Gregson (to cover 9)
Hope everyone returns firing, your thoughts?

| I like it and that is what i would go for. The only niggle for me is having both Isa and Gregson on the bench at the expense of a prop. One needs dropping out for me. To be honest i am not expecting a win, i just want all the players to have a solid game and get back up to speed.

| It's good to see injuries easing up a bit and it would be immense if that's the team we have on Thursday. But we have to be mindful that returning players will take a while to get back to their best. and although it is a big game, it's not that important in the grand scheme of things.

| What's wrong with Gildart? If he's fit he has to keep playing centre. I'd probably give TT a rest.

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10174.png |

| They look strong this year and even when they are garbage, they always raise their game for their cup final. If we can put out a team close to the OP's we'll have a good chance, but you can never be confident going to the Wolfs.

| There are several question marks about future team selection when all our players are fit.
The first one is whether Sarginson will move back into the centres when Sam Tomkins is back. I believe Wane will move him back there. Gildart is improving but Sarginson is still the better player at present and I believe Wane thinks the same.
Secondly, if you think back to the start of the season, it appeared Wane wanted to play O'Loughlin at prop this year and to start Bateman at 13. Injuries have meant this hasnt happened too much but now players are returning I can see wane trying this again.

How many of those have had warm up games since being injured?
And do/did they need them?

| Reading an article on the Wigan evening post site it sounds like Joel Tomkins and Crisby are fit, Lockers and Farrell may well be and Williams could be as well. It sounds like Manfredi could be another week and Tautai and Clubb's injuries aren't serious. Tough to guess a side out of all that but being optimistic and just ruling out Manfredi I'd go-
Sarginson
Charnley Gelling Gildart Tierney
Williams Smith
Flower Powell Mossop
Tomkins Bateman Lockers
Subs
Clubb or Tautai Crosby Farrell Gregson
No need to risk both Clubb and Tautai and a decent time to let Sutton have a rest. I'd want Gregson on the bench to cover the halves and he could possibly give Powell a rest.

| With the Dewsbury game the week after I think that Williams will return in that one. Farrell usually slots in no problem. Joel only missed one, so I'd go -
Sarge
Josh, Gelling, Gildart, Tierney
Lockers, Matty
Mossop, Powell, Clubb
Faz, Joel, John B
Gregson on the bench (he's earned it), Flower, Tautai, Crosby.
I'd leave Isa out for now.
Mossop and Clubb have been our best two props. Flower has developed a worrying habit of making a lot of yards sideways!

| Mossop has been brilliant the last 2/3 games. A sure starter with Flower now. Agree about Flower going sideways though but more often than not he picks out the right player to run at.

| Mossop is finally driving his legs in contact. It's the first time I've seen him bother for a long while and he's getting his rewards. I'd like to think it's because he's getting confidence in his shoulders again. It can't be easy mentally trying to force your way through the line with opposition defenders hanging off you when you've got a lack of confidence in part of your body.

| Evening post reckons just Williams back for Wire now.
It's like trying to crack the Di Vinci code working out our injury status with all the mixed messages.
