| Although he plays for...erm...them i am looking forward to seeing him back tonight. Great player no doubt but how much have those injuries told. Could be an indicator of how we can expect to see Sam back for the first month or so. I don't expect to see Jonny back making loads of breaks or tackles but more just to see if his positional sense remans and can see a pass when he needs too. Hopefully Saints fans don't expect too much and anything other than average is a great result on a personal performance on what will be easily one of the toughest teams he will face.

| Great game and what made it great was all the missed tackles due to the expansive play both sides adopted. Think Jonny Lomax answered all the positional questions i asked. Saints Still have a top drawer player there. Vea everytime i see him is just a powerhouse but his injuries let him down. Great game for the neutral. Incidentally how underestimated is Keinhorst? Everytime i see the guy play he is better than the last game.
On a side note, reff's don't get praised often enough, I think Silverwood had a worldy tonight. That call on 75 mins when Golding nicked the ball out of Percival's hands was a great call. If he had given a knock on we could have been talking about a Leeds win for the wrong reasons. No team in that match has nothing to be ashamed of. Leeds' downfall was the sluggish start. If they stay injury free i would say Saints have arrived. Looked very solid tonight albeit quite sluggish on their own line but that can be worked on. Looks like an exciting end to the season.

It was Bentham reffing but it was the touch judge that called it.

| It's good to see Lomax back after what he has been through. I hope he has a bit more luck in the future.
As for the game it was as odd one. I enjoyed it, there was some good rugby played but some very poor defence allowed a lot of those try's.

ha ha apologies. I wont amend my post so you don't look daft or me
Good call though. Would have ruined a great game. The bald swede must have done me. In my defence though i had my earphones in listening to music so didn't hear any names called out

| Good to see him back, class player.
For hopefully the last time in my life, I (almost) cheered a Saints try when he went over. I feel so dirty.

It was a good call, but they check it with the video ref these days so I think Saints would have got the ball no matter what.

I think you better invest in some swarfega and tip it into a bath of cold water. The local vicar may come and bless you if you are lucky but you may be too far gone.
I even hate St. George Illawarra because they play in that disgusting kit

| On another side note, well done to Cunningham for swapping the halves, full back combo throughout the game. Really confused Leeds. Don't think they will get away with it again though.

| Great game to watch as a neutral, hate to say it but I'm glad Saints won, it's going to take an incredible effort from Leeds now to make the top four and I'd much rather they didn't make it as they've shown time and time again they know how to win when it matters.

| Awful low quality game.
It was like an episode of Can't Deffend Won't Deffend.

| I'll join the people saying it's good to see Lomax back, he's a class player and SL needs as many of them as possible. Seems like a good lad too. The game was a strange one but good for any neutrals watching.

| I started to watch it, but my dodgy internet feed got too bad, and I gave up and started watching the Broncos hammer the Bunnies. It looked a poor game at the beginning between two very ordinary sides. Apparently Saints improved a fair bit, then.
Lomax looked such a talent when he first appeared, but the worry always is when players are out for such a long time, will they ever really be right again. I'm pleased if he is, but, more importantly, if we can say the same about Sam Tomkins.
Just how much are Leeds missing Sinfield? maybe even off the pitch too. He always had his critics (me included), he had no pace, etc. But he could pick a pass, and his rugby brain and kicking game were second to none.
