I saw this and it really irritated me, the reaction on social media of "boys will be boys" etc has irritated me even more.

Going on tour is a privilege it's not a right, representing your country is a privilege not a right.

I was lucky enough to go on a 6 week tour overseas in my playing days. It may have been in a different code but the principles are the same, you are representing yourself, you are representing your team, and your are representing your country. We were made very aware if this right from the off and regardless of down time or not we understood we were always liable to be judged.

If you want to act like this go to Magaluf with the rest if the mindless idiots for a couple of weeks, in your own time and on your own finances, I did and others do.

The bloke should not get near an England shirt again, not because if this, just simply because he is a very average player.

Years ago this sort of thing stayed behind closed doors (pun intended) and we never got to hear about it. So I wouldn't judge him too harshly. I haven't seen it and I don't want to. It's none of my business. The management will deal with it and he'll learn (hopefully).

He was fourth choice hooker after Roby, MMc and Clark. He's not likely to get another chance as they are all still young. Only three tests next year and if he's fit Roby along with Clark will play. Clark is ahead of MMC now IMO.

I don't think he did that badly at all. It was his first taste of rugby at that level. This is a level he's never been close to playing before. I mean - facing Cameron Smith in your second game!!!
