I'm surprised Brown was so blunt with his comments but not surprised he questioned the ref.

How Wane can complain about anyone's comments after many of antics defies belief. His calling for a ban for Danny McGuire but one example of his hypocritical behaviour. All that has happened is he has been beaten at his own game.

Well done to Brown. Nice to see him getting stuck in for once. Only taken him 18 months to get some of the fans onside. It will do him a lot more credit with the Saints fans than any perceived slight against Wigan would cost him.
Wane loves giving it out, so he can cop a bit for a change.

Probably didn't need much of one to beat Hull on their particular showing that day lol.
I do remember Leeds being quite pi**ed off with his outspoken efforts to make sure Danny McGuire was suspended for the Wigan playoff game in 2012 after an incident when Leeds beat Catalans the week before.
Seems to be more of a 50/50 thing really where he might motivate his team, but he might motivate the other side also/instead with his words. |
