Has just joined Salford on loan to cover our injury crisis. Goes into the squad for Fridays game v Warrington.

Any opinions on him?

Really good move for him and us. He will be playing outside some half decent centres and he is already SL standard. I think Salford are fairly weak on the wings and he will certaily improve them and get some much needed SL game time.

He's a good one, think his fitness may need improving a little bit (struggled to chase back in the second half of the Wakey game even though we know he's very quick) but other than that he's a really promising player. Wouldn't be surprised to see him take the 2 spot for us if/when Charnley goes

I'm not sure about this. I don't mind loaning players to London and Bradford who are not really a threat (no disrespect), but Salford should make the 8. And on yesterday's form we will struggle to make the top 4

I know it's early days and a lot will happen but I am a lot less confident that we will do well this year. We need to sort out full back, centre, second row and let Matty find his feet as kicker, all of which may take time.

I don't want to lend a good player like Manfredi out to a rival.

No disrespect to Dom, but until we get at least half of Hock, Chase, Meli, Rapira, Sa’u, Griffin back I can’t see us improving too much from the Saints and Widnes games. As he’s only joined on an initial one-month loan I can’t see him playing in a full strength team whilst at Salford, unless it gets extended of course.

All reports sound positive, looking forward to see how he goes. Hopefully he’ll get the nod ahead of Danny Williams on the wing this Friday.
