Wouldn't mind going to see this game.

My 1st ever game of RL was Leigh Vs Warrington at Hilton Park in the CC sometime in the late 70's, the game was a blood bath & i've been hooked ever since.

What date & venue for this game please

I'd be surprised if it wasnt played at Leigh.

St Pats will need the money, so its quids in all round playing in a super stadium.

Yes the Game will be played at LSV.

Had some good negotiations last night and tonight with the Chair John Ruddy.

Sadly the game will clash with a Wigan home fixture as its being played at the sports village on Friday 14th March, how ever the Leigh Centurions club have agreed to promote the game and believe they can have a bumper crowd which can only benefit Wigan St Pats in the long run.

I suspect it will be a great adventure for our club and players and we will be meeting some old friends both on and off the pitch.

Its good to see a semi professional club wanting the best for the community side, well done Leigh Centurions

That's a shame as I really fancied going to the game to cheer St pats on in fact I still might.

We were faced with many challenges.
1, we are the host club so need to find a sufficient venue which will bring the best return for St Pats
2, The Leigh supporters and the LSV offer us the best prospect to make the game financially viable for St Pats
3, there is a wedding on at the venue on the Saturday therefore as St Pats are officially hiring the LSV they cant change the wedding date/
4, Swinton Lions also play at the LSV they have a home tie for the CC and take precedent as its their home fixture

The net result is we play on a Friday night when hopefully we can make a little return or we play it at a ground where we make nothing.

Look the fact is Wigan Warriors will be there all season, you only get one chance this season to watch St Pats against Leigh...big shout I know but worth a punt..

Thank you for your kind words regarding our club, without the hard work of the volunteers at our junior clubs, putting the hours in for the love of their club, then we would not have a sport to watch.

We are trying very hard to bring our community clubs into the inclusive vision we have for RL in our area, as partners not sub ordinates, and do whatever we can to help them develop their respective clubs.

We will do our best to make the evening a success for Pats, your fans will be most welcome and will have a great evening - but not too much we hope

Anthony told me a few weeks ago he was packing in to concentrate on his Family , he is currently working for SAM Joinery , but ive been told St Pats are trying to persuade him to return .I would love to see him have a go at Leighs pack , the lad never gives ,and would always give 100%.

£1 for Under 16's

Hopefully them prices will suit favourable for the fans to turn out
