| Never seem to hear his name when the "who'll play in the centre next year" topic comes up but he has spent most of the season playing there. What do you all think? Will he even still be with us?

seems to have gone from superstar in the making to average player, I do wonder if shifting him from club to club has affected his progress.

| I was discussing this the other day whilst Wales where playing. His first year in the academy team he was getting rave reviews on here and was being championed as easily becoming the best of the 3 Welsh lads we signed. Since then he seems to have stagnated. He's never impressed me in the centres when Ive seen him for London or Wales, he did a decent job Vs Leeds in the 2nd row for us a year or so back but is lacking size IMO.

| I just wonder if he's one of those lads that's too small for the pack but not quick enough for centre. Its tough to really increase your speed to a huge degree so his best hope would seem to be bulking up and trying to nail a spot in the pack.

| We've that many centres and backrowers ahead of him next season that I can't see him getting any game time for our first team. Wouldn't be surprised to see him leave soon

| I hope he stays on, I still rate him.
He has a great engine on him and long term I think he will make the step up and be a first rate second row forward.
He has good hands and could cause all sorts of trouble in amongst the ruck, but as his first season of proper super league rugby is now behind him, I would expect to see him develop quite quickly in 2014.

| He could do with going out on loan to a Super League side next season, along with Greg Burke. Both could do with getting regular games at a good standard as opposed to being in and out of the first team, at Leigh or down in South Wales. There's plenty of depth in the forwards so it should be possible.

What a dreadful thing!

Judging by the exodus at the end of this year I think they'll take anyone they can get.

| I rate him, think he will get more chances next year especially with Tuson gone.

but we've already recruited Andy Powell, Pettybourne, Hopkins and Clubb to replace Mossop, Prescott, Hock and Tuson.
Discounting Lauaki we then have Taylor, Dudson, Flower, Crosby, Faz, H, Lockers, Burke and Hughes.
Thats quite a queue to get a game, especially as 10 of them can play back row

Didn't Burke sign a relatively short contract? Two years I thought, maybe three but I thought it was two. I reckon he will want to break into the side during that time, not be off elsewhere for a season.
I know he had a family bereavement last season that kept him out of the side but I'd like to see him in when Lockers is out and also given games to rest Lockers who is in RL terms getting on a bit.

| I suspect Sam Hopkins may get the 13 slot if Lockers becomes injured again.
He played in the 8 shirt at Leigh but at loose forward in the games.
We have massive numbers of forwards and Lloyd is going to find it difficult to get a first team game.

| It will be an interesting year for Sam Hopkins, he has great speed, hands and step for a big lad - great attitude too
I like Lloyd, showed some guts in his couple of games here at Leigh - carried off after a minute in the first one, isn't he only 18/19 though, so will fill out

| Seems a good time to ressurect this post. Rumored to be off on loan to Widnes. The coaches seem to see something in Rhodri and to be fair he looked good in the world cup. He is the type of player who would have benefitted from an u21s set up allowing him to be monitored close to home rather than being shoved around the country for experience.
