Anyone know anything about the rumours that Premier Sports will be included in the XL TV package on Virgin for the duration of the RLWC? I believe a group of MPs have been pushing for it to happen?

There's big talk that it's free for a month from tomorrow on either channel 531 or 551, unless you're on a dodgy scanner box from some computer fair... |

I hope you're right. I complained to Virgin recently and got a standard response...
[iRight now, the channel you're looking for isn't part of our line up, and
it doesn't look like we've got any plans to add it just yet either.[/i
this response was on the 18th October. Lets hope the pressure from MPs has worked.

I'm led to believe that those scanner boxes from computer fairs stopped working about 2 years ago. |

Read on Twitter that Virgin have denied it is happening. It will be a shame if us Virgin customers have no way of watching the games covered by PS

After Setanta collapsed Virgin wanted to put Premier on their XL package but Premier wanted to be a pay per view channel on Virgin and they fell out big time after that .
