When MM is on the field we look far more in control, when Logan comes on it always feels like a damage limitation exercise until he gets back on.

Having heard Wane speak about him I don't think he sees his "loose cannon" attributes as a negative. Not that he doesn't have a hundred other reasons to rate him as a player, but he certainly has a soft spot for lads who like a bit of biff.

I think MM needs to be careful though, it's easy to start believing all the hype about yourself and get a bit too big for your boots and start thinking you can get away with all sorts. Gaz Hock I'm looking at you.

What I don't get is why he makes Micky the captain then rotates him off after 20mins surely the skipper should be doing the full 80mins unless he is injured in my opinion especially when our other option is Logan Tomkins.

Class player, tough as nails and will prove his worth when it matters. Why do people get so upset and spooked by one defeat against a good side with 4 of our best players missing including the only two 'world class' players we have?

I'm all for getting miffed about next years prospects but picking holes in things that aren't there in the short term is ridiculous!

Last night went down hill after MM (and Taylor) went off. I would put him in above every other hooker in SL and I include Roby in that. MM is a very good hooker and his aggression is one of his best attributes.

Well the OP was asking why Wane "loves" MM despite his poor discipline, and you responded about something totally different, vis, people being spooked about one defeat and miffed about next years prospects.

Because the OP is one of many posts after last night bemoaning things that aren't issues in the short term. We have a cracking side when everyone plays but our best players are being rested. People don't seem to take that in to consideration though when bagging all the other players.

Lockers and Tomkins do indeed make the lads around them look better I suppose but the same can be said of Sinfield and Peacock at Leeds for example.

The point I'm trying to make is all this whining and moaning after last night (including this thread) is ridiculous in relation to this years prospects, they're still very good IMO but if people want to start a hundred thread panicking about next years chances I could understand it.
