i questioned when jeff lima said that we lost a lot of the drive when madge left because i know shaun wane is just as passionate if not more but after the past 6 weeks its starting to show.

This is simply our game plan got found out and Wane has no idea what to do next. Might as well not have any props from now on as he does not use them to carry the ball.

they just look like they are uninterested for 6 weeks started the season like a house on fire then just slouched into a mid table side.

Exactly Mossop is going through the motions again. He did this last season.

The yards made by the props tonight is a joke only Taylor looks like a decent prop. Mossop runs to the tackler and makes no real effort to get over the tackle line. But the amount of times the ball is going in the first 2,4 tackles to a winger or a 2nd row is a joke.

Thats not a team looking disinterested but a side coached poorly.

put Liam Farrell into that category the amount of times he just stays flat footed and just grabs a hold of the runner is ridiculous. They need a real rocket kicked up there .

i hope shaun wane plays a fully fit team next week and tells them anybody who has a poor game isn't playing at wembley.

I desperately hope that we're simply cruising saving energy for the Cup final and the Playoffs.

Otherwise our season is over. We get bossed in the forwards each and every week.

Taylor was the only forward who made much impact tonight.

without the big two players who run your team it all looks quite average.plenty of effort though and quite a tight game for a good hour against a full strength Hudds.not sure you can lay the defeat at the door of the coach though,you can only work with the talent you have available.

Well worth wraping O'loughlin and Tomkins in cotton wool from here though because without either i cant see any trophys heading to the DW this year.

This has been going on for 4-5 weeks. You can not just hope we turn up for the final and win. Atm i think Hull are Favorites to win it. We are predictable and the Props apart from Flower and Taylor are awful now.

the team we put out tonight was good enough to beat huddersfield just the lack of effort stopped us. the forward have been lethargic for weeks and its up to shaun wane to sort it.

People on here who have been saying for weeks that as long we finish in the top 4 are deluded, Wigan are showing the worst run of form for the last few years.
Maybe Wane is compensating for the amount of flack he received last season by going out to win every match, now he seems to be going over the top by continually changing the team, often citing niggles to certain players (when in the past he would say players play with knocks every week).
Wane said a couple of weeks ago that players would have to fight for their places to gain a place for Wembley, being honest how many players from the last few matches can you say will walk into the final team.
People on here tonight are blaming the forwards, but for me it is the total lack of ideas from the halfbacks.
No flair, creative ideas or any thing from the halfbacks during the last few weeks, I am not blaming Powell as much because this halfback problem has been with Wigan for weeks. It just seems to be collect the ball and then a flat pass to a forward, whereas tonight the Hudds halfbacks put us to the sword.

Finally Sam, for the last few games when he has missed a match the club have announced that he is fully fit (in tonight's Manchester Evening News Sam is quoted as saying that he is fully fit and raring to go) only to announce an hour before the kick off that he is out with a sudden niggle.
This could mean one of three things.
1, Wigan are being honest and it only looks suspicious.
2, Wigan are telling porkies just to keep the ticket sales up.
3, Sam is carrying a serious injury and he is being wrapped in mothballs for the big matches, or to protect any future value if /or when he goes.

Sadly I have to agree.

I hope it's a master plan by Wane and we are really going to peak in the playoffs.................
