If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

True but I hope the Micky Mac and Flower are available for the cup tie v Widnes. Far too close a game without so many experienced players in the side.
That [iis[/i an important part of the season.

| Now I have to state that I'm not a trained medical person and it's easy to say this with hindsight but common sense doesn't seem to have prevailed here.
If they discovered the injury prior to the Wakefield game then surly they should have bit the bullet and just taken the surgery option at that point!
Why gamble with rest when A - they knew he would miss two games, B - had a two week rest period after the Widnes game and C probably knew it would be a 4/6 week recovery period.
Did no one do the math with the semi final in mind?

Surgery is always the last option

| Flower was out for 8-10 weeks as of the Widnes game, so don't expect to see him anytime soon
Macca was 3 weeks so he'll be touch and go for Warrington but I'd expect to see him, especially with the game being a Monday

| Gutted for him, playing excellent this season as always. Other teams would see this type of injury in their team as a nightmare but we can see it as an opportunity for the youngsters to step in and gain some firs team experience. Will be interesting to see how we go at Warrington.

| As long as its 4-6 weeks and doesn't drag it's feet its no big deal. He's a fabulous player and one of our most important players but we need him fit for the knock put games to come further down the line.
Shame if he misses the Widnes game but its certainly no excuse for a defeat.

| We should be fine to beat Widnes without Lockers and the other games are unimportant. Get well soon Sean!

| A big loss in my opinion.
His experience will be missed.

I think Lockers has upped his game, reduced the many mistakes and penalties and deserves to be given credit.
I stand by my comments that earlier on in his career he was a bloody liability. I don't know the reasons for that, maybe it was as he was trying too hard. Maybe he didn't have the right players around him. Maybe he was just young and given the captaincy too early.
Fact is he used to be a penalty machine and prone to errors.
He is no longer that person.

The problem didn't show up on a scan so Wigan were hopeful that a couple of weeks rest would sort the knee out. Unfortunately, this wasn't to be and Sean went for a minor operation to send a camera in and have a look around. This has flagged up the need for an operation that will keep him out for a month.

Massive player for us. And really noticeable at Wakey and Widnes how much we missed him.
