Hmmm. It seems to be a problem with virgin. It says live test cricket is on from 13.55-21.00 yet rugby union has just finished. It did say our game was on next but it makes it a pain to record.

Which Virgin box do you have?

I put the game on Record yesterday morning, but, when i'd come home the game hadn't recorded, and looking back through the TV guide that day, The RL had been removed. Bit of a pain as I like to watch the game when I get in!

They changed the schedule late on after postponements/early finishes of other sports.

Didn't record for me either. Saying that after eventually watching the repeat and the dreadful and negative commentary surrounding our first three trys it wasn't much of a loss.

The scream of forward from Wiggy for our 3rd try was plain embarrassing.

Imagine the horror he must have felt seeing a team half comprised of Wigan reserves annihilate one of Super League's great new hopes for the future.

Not that I in any way am pleased that we've now got a two-tier SL, with five real clubs at the top and all the other pretenders miles and miles behind, but Wiggy has spent the last 15 years hoping and praying that Wigan won't become dominant again, and his ridiculous bias every time he commentates on our games has now reached the stage where I'll avoid listening to it if possible and will watch the match with radio commentary in the background.

I've tried that, and the problem is that, sadly, the pictures via Sky and the radio commentary are woefully out of sync.

The one from Green to Charnley was forward(our second, Charnleys first try) but i'm not sure either way if the 3rd one was. It was a ball from Goulding and even if it was Hemmings commentary was a shambles. He screeched for a forward pass and then when it wasn't given basically just gave up on his job and didn't bother saying anything for a few seconds.

Swings and roundabouts I suppose with Clarkey up our ar*e for 80 minutes.

Getting back to the point...
I thought the game was originally scheduled on SS2 (not HD)? At about 3pm my Tivo box EPG had golf on that channel, so I did a manual record from 5.30-8pm. When I got home after the game, all I got on the recording was golf. The next day, the EPG was still showing golf, with no signs of our game on any channel, except for the 10.30pm re-run, which I successfully recorded.
My Series Links reported that the planned SL game was not recorded because it was no longer in the EPG.
A tweet to Virgin Media produced the suggestion to check the 'unmiss' feature, which I have never heard of. An angry phone call to VM now pending.

My dad was trying to watch the game live via Tivo and it was showing golf until just before the kick-off of our game, when it suddenly switched to the RL. He thinks it was on SS2 (not HD).
