| that was on par with a top NRL game no doubt about it. i don't think we will miss finch too much but smith has stepped right in to tommy boots, we actually have a kicking game . The forwards were fantastic, liam farrell played a lot better than i have seen hock play, mouth watering to think we still have hansen to come back. mossop, dudson and taylor stood up to the big wire pack.
a lot of hot air over nothing, shows that shaun has this team fantastically conditioned and well drilled in a game plan.
well done warrington played very well.

| Really stood up well tonight. All 17.
Also there were little niggles but kudos to the ref for not just carding any side straight off the bat.
Excellent advert for the game and great play from both sides.

| Absolutely fantastic match. Both sides knocked seven bells out of eachother for the full 80 minutes. Great advert for our game.

| How many penaties did you give away tonight. It would have been twice as many with Hock on your side. Bentham cheated you out of a win tonight and that is coming from a Leyther. The young Pies stood up tonight and you should be very proud of them.

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

| Brilliant defensive effort. Wire were a bit sloppy at times and made a few errors too but the second half defensively was brilliant. The only disappointing thing for me was the discipline, Or lack of it rather. On another day a few more Wire passes could have stuck and we could have lost due to a ridiculous amount of silly penalties, hopefully experience in the younger players as the season goes on will cut that out a bit.
I'd wrote us off tonight and expected a tonking, But the young lads got stuck in and I think overall the draw was a worth result of what I thought was a fantastic game.

| Thought we'd win but happy with the draw in a great game. We did it tough with Bentham all over us but that's to be expected. The Wigan forwards are young but tonight showed their potential against a tough and battle hardened Wire set. They've just matched some experienced internationals like Morley, Westwood, Waterhouse and Carvell blow for blow and guys like Faz, Dudson and Mossop became men tonight.
I thought that was all achieved via a massive captains knock from Lockers though, he was a machine. Also Ben Flower really announced himself as a Wigan player tonight.

| Great game! Draw seems a fair result to me, thought it could have gone Wire's way when we were giving plenty penalties away but we seemed to reign it back in and knuckle down. The pressure we withstood on our own line was immense! Flower and Farrell the stand out players for me tonight. really happy with the way the halves worked as well. Thought we had done it by one point but respect where it's due to Briers he knows how to find one point when it matters. Looking forward to a good season after that test!

| An epic game of RL. I suppose when I watch it back I might find some sloppy play form Wire and daft penalties from Wigan that will detract for the overall quality but I don't give a stuff. That was real entertainment for 80 mins.
Taylor gave it a real go I thought. Was getting quite concerned with the way he went in the friendlies but he took it Wire's O.A.P's when he was on.

| i had wire to win by 10-14 tonight, be a score in front and then kill the game late on
I think Wigan will therefore be happier as Wire had the stronger side out, but also disappointed that they didnt win
all in all a fantastic game of RL, well contested by two committed sides with no quarter asked or given
well done to both teams, and both sets of fans for giving the game the respect it deserves

| Brilliant game. Thought we defended superbly but our discipline let us down at times. Very impressed with green and smith, kicking game wasn't brilliant but that was mainly to do with Warrington chasing fast from marker and putting a lot of pressure on the kickers. Our young pack really stood up to Warrington tonight and gave as good as they got.
As for people having a pop at Sam for not catching the briers bombs, NO fullback in world rugby league would have caught them, briers kicking on the last was exceptional, the bombs were executed with pin point accuracy.
