The trouble with Gareth Hock is that every other Superleague player knows he has a short fuse and is so easy to wind up either by sledging or little niggles in the tackle, its easy for the opposition to milk a penalty from him if not get him sin binned or even sent off. On his day he can be thebest forward in the country but he is no good sat in the stands.
Perhaps that's why he wants a fresh start in Aus where he will be a small fish in a big pond.

The famous short fuse seems to have lengthened somewhat.
The myth continues but on the whole he didn't take the bait much last year.

His biggest problem for me this year will be the perception that he isn't fully committed to the club. A few quiet games and people will be on his back.
