On a couple of interviews Shaun Wane has mentioned being ready for the 6th January (or words to that effect). That would suggest that the friendly fixture(s) are already in place.
Any "hints" of where and when from the insiders?
I would presume one is v Leigh (for obvious reasons)

There is the Ben Westwood testimonial away at Wire, Sat 26th January. Was also rumoured to be a Salford away friendly on Thurs 17th, but given league fixtures I've heard that may not now happen.

The Ben Westwood Testimonial game was listed in League Express two weeks ago.
I'd expect a reverse fixture next year for a Wigan player's testimonial.

Will Hock get one ?  It may have been 10 years since he made his debut next year but he missed 2 years. Maybe he shouldnt have one as punishment or he should have his in 2015 as he would have played for Wigan RL for 10 years at that point. |

The Whistling Wren pub opens on 3rd December , it is right at the side of the North Stand , does meals and looks very nice .
