Good solid player who is similar to Harrison Hansen was about 6 years ago.
Not flash by any means, but pretty consistent.
Like Hansen, his effort will not be appreciated by many fans, who will question his inclusion in the team.
Can also look after himself and is capable of thwacking poop house St Helens wannabes with 3-4 punches in under 2 seconds.
Would go very well at HKR if true.

| I doubt he will be going anywhere. If it were to HKR I would have expected him to be in the deal that brought Taylor to Wigan.
I think he needs to kick on this season and make a claim to be in the 17 each week rather than drifting in and out if he is to have any chance of a long term future with us, but short term i think he will be a Wigan player.

Tbf he was in the 17 every week when fit. I do agree this year will be make or break for him though. If rumours of HH going to NZ Warriors at the ned of next season are true then he could be a ready made replacement.

| He's a good player but not a bench player IMO. He's a 70/80 minute style grafter and without getting those minutes he'll find it hard to be fully accepted here.
If the squad numbers suggest we're playing Hock off the bench for impact I think we've got the wrong man starting in Faz. He also adds something a little different and does well off the bench but if you want a bit of grunt and aggression as well as a high workrate to start games Tuson is probably the man for me.

He always made the 17 when fit, his problem is that he rarely seemed to get anything more than 15 minute spells unless someone get injured. When he did get to play longer he didn't really stand out though.
He's shown glimpses of some good attacking play though, a few good breaks and a handful of try assists too so he's capable of more and perhaps just needs a few more opportunities to show it.
He's not a player who people expected big things from as far as I can remember. He seemed to be a decent player in the academy where as Farrell was outstanding.
This season I think he has to force Wane to play him for longer during games and push for a place in the starting line up too.

| I'm surprised that he never got tried in the hooking position. He has good hands, decent pace and a very good engine.

| I thought his best game last season was Saints away when he played loose forward. Tackled like a machine and got involved in some simple, yet effective handling & interplay. Probably down to him playing the full game and having a definite role in the team that day rather than being a bit-player. Hope we keep him & see a lot more of him next year.
A bit more biff would be nice too!

| He looked like another great prospect to me before suffering that horrendous nose break. I've barely noticed him since.

I have yet to see these "good hands" some talk about. Only ever seems to take the ball up for me majority of the time and then is like a rabbit in the headlights when he has to spread it

| He looked pretty good when he started getting game time in 2009 but he hasn't really kicked on from there. I was surprised when he signed his current contract and I would probably let him go at the end of it. Hansen, Hock, O'Loughlin, Farrell, Hughes and Flower are all ahead of him for me, plus big things are expected of Lloyd, Carberry and Burke. It sounds quite harsh but I really don't see why he was such a regular in the 17 this season. IMO we would have been far better giving game time to Powell or L.Tomkins and giving McIlorum a breather, that's the way I would go this season too.
