| Wigan Warriors Head Coach Shaun Wane has today named his 19 man squad to face Leeds Rhinos at the DW Stadium this Friday night in a Qualifying Semi-Final Play-Off game.
Wigan are just 80 minutes away from a Grand Final appearance and with the exception of the injured Chris Tuson and Paul Prescott and the suspended Michael McIlorum have a near full squad to select from.
The Warriors go into the game on the back of a great win over Catalans two weeks ago while the Rhinos have defeated Wakefield at home and the Dragons away to reach the last four of this year's competition.
Wigan Warriors 19 Man Squad (in alphabetical order)
George Carmont, Josh Charnley, Gil Dudson, Liam Farrell, Brett Finch, Ben Flower, Darrell Goulding, Harrison Hansen, Gareth Hock, Jack Hughes, Epalahame Lauaki, Thomas Leuluai, Jeff Lima, Lee Mossop, Jack Murphy, Sean O'Loughlin, Pat Richards, Matty Smith, Sam Tomkins
Referee - Richard Silverwood

| You think we are expecting to see the same as Catalan with Lockers starting at hooker with Smith coming off the bench?

| Also I'd sit out Murphy and Flower, but reckon Wane will sit out Murphy and Hughes.

| May well start with Lockers at 9 with Smith coming on to spell a back rower.
Against Catalans Hughes went off for Smith and it will be interesting to see the bench now Gaz Hock is back in the squad.
Jack Murphy to miss out with possibly Jack Hughes as SW seems to select Ben Flower when possible.

I'd be suprised if we didn't.
16 players pick themselves IMO with the only tough call being between Flower and Hughes for the last bench spot.
I keep swaying between the 2 of them. Today I think I'd say let's go Flower because his all action style suits these types of matches but Hughes is excellent cover for centre so I may change my mind.

Whoever is picked will be up for it anyway with a Grand Final spot up for place. One of the reasons I'd go with Dudson, even though he may be lacking match fitness, he can be a monster on his day!

| Dudson was awful for the under 20's so you'd expect him to have played himself out of contention for this game. However he's been awful in every single game he's played for the under 20's and that hasn't stopped him from having some good performances for the first team so who knows what will happen.

If this weather prevails it's going to be a gritty match with the forwards determining the out come, so I'd go with Dudson to he has the size and go froward to make a difference in this type of game.

| Dudson is a strange player. He's a young lad who must have come to the club with the expectation that he'd have to earn a first team spot by playing well for the u20's yet he's been abysmal on the couple of occasions I've seen him for them. I also believe he's was dreadful at the weekend. On the flip side he's been a revaluation for the first team and looks right at home.
Hopefully he's a big game player rather then a big head. I'd hate for a poor attitude to creep in at first team level.

| Murphy and Flower to miss out for me, I think Hughes has made more of an impact when he has played tbh. Or maybe Dudson and Murphy if he was really that bad last week?

I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum.
Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight!

It's absolutely bizarre. But at least he's consistent.
I'd pick him regardless of the form he showed at the weekend, purely because he's always showed up at first team level.

| i am confused as to why Wane would consider going with Lockers at 9? he offered nothing from that position apart from good distribution unless i am missing something? Smith should be at 9 and at least he and Tommy can swap and change and also have the speed and vision around the ruck to run against retiring forwards which considering the hammering our forwards gave Catalan i dont remember happening?
