The nerve of the people who set the prices, how dare they charge us to watch a game of rugby

If the game that was effectively a dead rubber was full price then the game that is 80 mins from Old Trafford was always going to be. I agree the pricing and the playoff structure are all wrong, but they were last year, the fans voted with their feet and the RFL still did nothing about it! FWIW I don't think the crowd in 2 weeks time will be as low as it was last night.
The most obvious solution is to include round 1 playoff matches in the price of a season ticket, though ideally the whole playoff format will be completely overhauled.

| I'm not being funny but what is the point in some people paying to go to regular season games with no real meaning then not attending the most important and supposedly exciting period with the 8 best sides in the competition. Baffles me! Other sports attendances rise at the most important period of the season!

And me, I'll bet there's a queue for tickets if we reach the Grand Final though.

| £21 for a semi final is more than reasonable.
Stop being a tight ar$e.

| They could offer fans different pricing options, £21 ticket if you want to watch the full game, £15 if you want to just watch the first 65 minutes.

The amount of people leaving with 10+ minutes to go was ridiculous. They all missed Charnley's try which was probably the best moment of the match. You pay your money to see things like full-length tries and then you miss it because you want to get home earlier. Muppets.

But how many people would have stoped had the Hull KR away game had been at DW towers.

| More people will come to watch an elimination semi final thats 80 mins from Old Trafford.
If I can afford it I will probably be going even if its someone like Catalans as I know I cant afford Old Trafford if we get there.

| Trouble is, the club have no control over these matches.
The RFL set the prices.
Sadly, they're not even offering the 5 for 4 like we had this week.

| Wigan could choose Warrington on the clubcall, imagine what a bumper crowd that would be, the game that many predicted would be the Grand Final, but at fortress DW stadium. For Warrington fans a game against Wigan is our cup final so it would be like Wembley with the 40000 diehards booking tickets.
The game would have so much interest, could Wigan finally break their hoodoo against Wire the kings of knock out rugby.

Not a chance! We pick Leeds (or whoever) and win, Wire go to Saints and lose, then Saints achieve "6 in a row".

Even the great Wigan teams of the 80s/90s never managed that
