| I think they have got that team pretty spot on IMO. Only issue I may have is swap Carmont for Goulding.

And at the end, I asked you one question. "Do you want to be a semi-final team? Or do you want to do something special?" You all said you wanted to win. But talking is easy – it needed you to believe. It needed you to work hard – harder than you had – and make sacrifices. You did all that. you worked for each other. You stuck together when it was tough. And because of your efforts, you sit here tonight as champions. I'm proud of you. Be proud of yourselves. You've done something special.'

Goulding has had a great season but Carmont has been simply outstanding all year. He hasn't played like a guy heading towards retirement.
Really wish he changed his mind and did another year.

I agree, I suppose its performances like we get from Carmont that we expect every game, whereas Goulding has really stepped up his performances this year.
Is that 3 years in a row now that Carmont has made the dream team?

| I have to say I am surprised Carmont is in there too. Most of the other selections seem spot on although I would have probably had Leulaui instead of Dureau but his injuury probably counted against him.

| Have you seen the Facebook post? It's pandemonium ha why can't they grasp that the best players are going to be at the best teams as its done on stats not votes?
Best one is the girl saying there should be one from every team.
14 teams but only 13 spots. Wow I really dont know how some people breathe.

3rd appearance in the Dream Team for Carmont, not 3 years in a row. My mistake!

| Joel Monaghan should be in for Hall IMO but other then that I can't really argue.
The two props are very interesting choices (both correct as well). Hill has been a joy to watch coming from the championship to play at that level and Casty has reached a level I didn't think was possible a couple of years back. I always though he looked a bit small and pretty average but he's proved me wrong on both counts. He's all heart and aggression now.

| The people on Facebook are too funny!
The majority of them want to see Wakefield players in there as they have been consistently performing well all season. Yet Wakefield finished 8th, the bottom half of the table!
This playoff system has made people dillusional...

Facebook certainly isn't the place for well thought out comments or any sort of reasoning, it's for the barely literate to mash their fists against a keyboard in furious indignation and it's all the more entertaining for it.
Basically, fans want the Dream Team to consist mainly of players from their club and think it shouldn't contain anyone from the team they hate the most.
So as a Wigan fan, this is what the Dream Team should have looked like...
1. Sam Tomkins (Wigan Warriors)
2. Josh Charnley (Wigan Warriors)
3. Darrell Goulding (Wigan Warriors)
4. George Carmont (Wigan Warriors)
5. Pat Richards (Wigan Warriors)
6. Brett Finch (Wigan Warriors)
7. Thomas Leuluai (Wigan Warriors)
8. Jeff Lima (Wigan Warriors)
9. Mike McIlorum (Wigan Warriors)
10. Lee Mossop (Wigan Warriors)
11. Harrison Hansen (Wigan Warriors)
12. Gareth Hock (Wigan Warriors)
13. Sean O'Loughlin (Wigan Warriors)
And anyone who disagrees is an absolute moron.
