| We have won the league leaders shield and we have nothing to play for against Saints.
Would tony smith play his full side if he was in our position or would he rest some players?
It might be an opertunity for the fringe players to see what they can do.
Carmont , Hock , Micky Mac , Mossop, Finch even Sam look like they have had to much game time and would benifit from a break.. Any player carrying a knock could be rested. A brand new compertition starts after the Saints game and the winners are crowned champions of Super League. Rest them or play them???????????????

| I'd give Fielden and Dudson a run for Mossop and Flower to try and fire the props up for the play offs via some competition but it'd be a full side bar those.

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

| Blimey, is a bit of a tester this.... Rest/tinker, or just go all out and win every game. At this stage i would go all out for a win, and get the forwards banging holes in the opposition, and the backs working more fluidly in a match situation.

| I think the Props could do with time to freshen up, Mossop and Lima especially. Other than that unless we have players carrying knocks we play our best team available and try to get our defense firing again.
Tommy and Richards must play unless carrying knocks from the weekend.

| No. We need momentum now. And I don't think we are looking tired.
Irrelevant really this though as Wane as already said we'll be full strength.

| Our form the last 8 weeks has been pants. We've gotta get the stupid handling errors and missed tackles fixed and build some form. LLS is one thing and I'm chuffed with it but I still think wire are better than us and in much better form. If we want the GF win, we need all hands on deck and we need it now. I say play the best 17 available bar none. We need some form and need it now.

| Personally I would 'rest' (using the world 'rest' loosely as they dont look fit/out of form) Finch, Hansen and Mossop. I'd give Leuluai/Fielden and Dudson some game time before the play-offs just to weigh up our options.
1. Tomkins
2. Charnley
3. Goulding
4. Carmont
5. Richards
6. Smith
7. Leuluai
8. Flower
9. McIlorum
10. Lima
11. Farrell
12. Hock
13. O'Loughlin
14. Fielden
15. Dudson
16. Hughes
17. Lauaki

| I'm with Bilko, I don't think physical tiredness is the issue. If anything, it was our superior fitness that saw us through against tiring opposition. It's more a lack of composure that's been letting us down - and maybe a game with no pressure (other than it being Saints) is what they need?

| Dudson and Fielden are both playing according to Wane on the official site. He wants to have a look at were they're at before the play offs.
Good call IMO .

| Murphy (Why risk Tomkins are best player in a nothing game?)
Russell (Why risk the top scoring winger in a nothing game?)
Goulding
Gelling (Carmont needs to be rested when we can)
Richards (Would benefit from game time)
Finch (Looks like he needs to gain fitness)
Smith
Fielden (Needs game time urgently)
Tomkins (Again, why risk McM in a nothing game)
Mossop (under par, needs to be told to front up if he wants a place in the team)
Hansen (Looks off the pace still)
Faz (Why risk Hock?)
Flower (Why risk the capt?)
---------------
Eric, Dudson, Tommy, Hughes
Bring Tommy into the game as a 7 or 9, give him 60 mins.
Being 100% ready for the GF is what's important, put our ego to oneside, beating Saints in this game means nothing-only ego.

16304_1526976105.jpg [size=100:2md8k3b3][b:2md8k3b3]'Do you remember when we had that meeting in Orlando? We talked about how we were knocked out the previous year by Leeds. And at the end, I asked you one question. "Do you want to be a semi-final team? Or do you want to do something special?" You all said you wanted to win. But talking is easy – it needed you to believe. It needed you to work hard – harder than you had – and make sacrifices. You did all that. you worked for each other. You stuck together when it was tough. And because of your efforts, you sit here tonight as champions. I'm proud of you. Be proud of yourselves. You've done something special.'

| Matty Smith just tweeted that he's not playing tonight.
