Lets hope we have a good following in the capital city this Saturday,people thats undecided use the money on not going wembley on London and still hav change left over a ticket and coach for £40 is a bargain.

We go on the 7.10am train Saturday morning and come back Sunday night.
Should be fun. It's always a brilliant atmosphere at the stoop especially after the match in the bar.

Games as big as Grand Finals define individuals and clubs. Remember, we only rent these journeys. In my time I had Pat Richard's shirt. Ellery Hanley had Sean O'Loughlin's jersey. Sam Tomkins is wearing Radders' number one jersey. Andy Coley is wearing Shaun Wayne's jersey. You have to make a mark in these shirts before you hand it down to someone else. Hand it back. So be aware for 80 minutes that you are not only playing, but you are also writing history and creating legacy. How many people actually write history - not many? I'd certainly join in but for impact terms I think a home sky match would be better. You'd have the sky clock so people would know when to start and it would get picked up on by the cameras.
The Hull and Saints games would be great. The Saints game in particular would be special with the club wearing a special kit for that one. If 20,000+ people stood up for a minute doing the join jack symbol to a nationwide audience that would have impact! |
