Anyone know whats happening with him? Not played for Hull the past 2 weeks - no signs of him being recalled for Wigan? Is he OOC?

I think he's still contracted at Wigan for next year and possibly longer. I would imagine he just can't get into the team at the moment as I haven't heard anything about him being recalled.

could it be that russell has sort of done his job for hull now, he went in to fill a space and now with mcgoldrick signed at hull he is no longer needed

I wonder if Russell may go to Salford next season on loan? Patten is retiring at the end of this season and rumour has it that Hull will sign Shannon McDonnell from HKR. Plus they have already signed Ryan McGoldrick.
A loan move to Salford for Russell may be good for all concerned.
