Well said, if/when these players taste success at Wigan it will raise both their, and our, profile in Wales, creating more knowledge and awareness of our club/sport, we, and RL in general have a history of great Welsh players, lets hope we can attract more to 'go north'.

Yes it was but there were very good reasons why he went to Warrington.

But he is an exceptional young player as I expect Lloyd will also be.

But with hindsight should we have paid him the extra. his former amateur coach led him to wire.

As for the investment in South Wales RL. Even at this early stage in the process we look to be reaping great benefits from it.

Whats happened to Keith Holden Jnr and Bobbie Goulding Jnr at Warrington. Surely with names like that they would waltz into their starting team once Briers hangs his boots up.

Well I was all for it and thought that it was a no brainer. As I said at the time there are many fantastic Welsh 'Rugby' players and there are more players than ever are now playing Rugby League and we would be very foolish not to take advantage of this. Allied to this it also helps to further develop the game in wales and Welsh RL in general which can only be good for RL.

Keith Holden Jnr is now at Widnes i believe

He didn't look out of place at all and like pointed out this Welsh link up has reaped rewards even at this very early stage. It should also really help bring on the Welsh national side prior to the world cup and that's pleasing.
